BIRTHDAY PARTIES

A visit to Art Haven is a great way to celebrate a birthday! Art Haven's trained and dedicated staff will ensure a fun creative time is had by all! Select from the party options listed below or email us to design a custom party experience.

Parties are two hours long and will run from 1:30-3:30 in the afternoon on the selected day. We charge $375 for 12 guests. You can add additional children for $25.00 each. We are unable to accommodate more than 15 guests.

If you would like to reserve a date, we need to be notified at least 3 weeks in advance. Email darciembrown@arthaven.org to confirm your date and pay a $180 deposit to reserve the space!

SLIME PARTY

There is nothing better than oooey, goooey slime! Kids will learn to make their own slime with fun colors and mix-ins like clay, shaving cream, and glitter. Our slime is Borax free to be easy on hands.

IMAGINARY WORLDS

Construct a miniature house and the world around it with mixed media materials like paper, cardboard, clay, beads, pipe cleaners, glitter, and much more!

PAINTING PARTY

Select a theme and create a fabulous painting along with one of our talented teachers. We supply canvases, acrylic paint, brushes…and of course aprons!

BIRTHDAY PARTY FAQ’S

  • Birthday parties are available for children in grades K-5th.

  • Parents are responsible for decorations. If you would like to set up before the party you can arrive 30 minutes prior to your time slot to decorate.

  • Art Haven does supply the materials for standard birthday party projects. However, if you would like to do a project that involves materials that we do not have readily available, please let us know so that we can plan accordingly.

  • We allow fifteen minutes for everyone to arrive, during which kids can free draw. Once guests are ready, we begin welcoming kids and getting to know everyone. The instructor will introduce the craft and provide instruction. Kids can then jump in and have fun creating! We are there to help as needed throughout the party. Crafts last between an hour to an hour and a half. Teachers will help organize cleanup and transition to what parents have planned next.

  • Yes! Just let us know that you would like to have time for food and we will plan the art project accordingly. Parents or caregivers are responsible for bringing paper goods. Please note we are a nut-free facility.

  • Parents provide all paper goods.

  • That is really up to you. We are happy to accommodate and can do a craft before, after, or in between food.

  • You will be asked to pay half of the costs when reserving the party date. The remaining balance can be paid the day of the party via cash, check (made out to Art Haven), or card.

  • Please inform us of any allergies so we can work with you to ensure everyone’s safety.
